Dear Ms. Daisy

Thankyou for such an interesting question. 👍

The Cape of Good Hope is an exception wrt to the omission of the definite article 'the' before the names of capes such as Cape Cod and Cape Horn.

The Cape of Good Hope is a group of capes; viz. Western Cape, Eastern Cape, and Northern Cape. Hence, the definite article 'the' is used before Cape of Good Hope.

Dear Ma'am

Thank you especially about where we have to omit the use of 'The'. Because I have always used 'the' before Mount Everest. But what about the cape of good hope? Because in the Wikipedia they have written the cape of Good Hope.
